English for New Americans (ENA)

ESOL/English as a Second Language Classes for Adults!

We offer day and evening classes for English language instruction. Refugees, immigrants, and visitors from many countries come together to read, write, listen and speak the English language.

To enroll, students must fill out a registration form and take a language test. The results will determine student placement level.

  • Our classes offer practical English for living and working in the community, and conversing with friends and neighbors.
  • ENA also offers computer skills classes for students who are enrolled in ESL classes.
  • Citizenship classes are offered in the Fall and Spring and are open to anyone needing help preparing for citizenship.
  • There are special events such as conversation cafes, holiday dinners, and afternoon teas where our students practice conversation with native English speakers.
